inches tall and only weigh one hundred and forty-five pounds.

The girl by the window who wore her hair in pigtails, turned to the driver who had straight black hair and they talked for a moment. Then the girl in pigtails went toward the back and opened the back door.

"Get in." she said.

There was something odd in the way she spoke to me, kind of bossy, but I wasted no time in climbing in out of the

rain.

As I entered through the side door, the girl in pigtails pointed to a leather chair at the left rear side of the RV. "Sit there," she said, using that same demanding manner again.

The girl with straight hair was watching me as I sat in the leather chair and the pigtailed one shut and locked the

side door.

"It's rather a wet evening to be walking out on the road, isn't it?"

"I sure am grateful to you ladies. My car quit on me a few miles back and I need to get to a service station."

"Where are you headed, Honey?" asked Pigtails. "Kansas City."

"You're going the wrong way on this road if you want to get to K.C.," said the straight haired girl.

"Yes, I suppose so. I've got some time off from my job and I wanted to see the countryside, so I've been sort of meandering in that general direction."

The pigtailed girl looked at the driver. "Nobody knows its location and the body type is right."

I was wondering what she meant as the driver replied, "I like it too."

Pigtails reached into a bag by the front seat and pulled out a pistol which she pointed right at my chest! "You! Just freeze right there!"
